About Dr. Iannacone:

Dr. Iannacone has been practicing Podiatry in his Brooklyn, NY location since 1988. He moved to Northport, Long Island in 1996 and added his practice there in 1997. He is Board Certified in Podiatric Orthopedics by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Prior to practicing Podiatry he practiced as a Registered Pharmacist having worked for Genovese Drug Stores where he was the Supervising Pharmacist of the College Point, Queens store.

 

Education:

Dr. Iannacone graduated from St. Johns University in 1978 with a BS Pharmacy. In 1986 he graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a New York College of Podiatric Medicine Post Doctoral Preceptorship in 1987. In 1994 he became Board Certified in Podiatric Orthopedics by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.

Community Service

Dr. Iannacone has served on the Board of Directors of the Northport Chamber of Commerce for since 1997 having been President for 3 of those years. He is currently President. Some of his accomplishments with the Chamber include being in charge of wrapping the parking meters into Candy Canes on the Friday after Thanksgiving with Boy Scout Troop 410, writing of the grant to secure the funds for the new “Welcome to Northport” signs throughout the village and his favorite being the founder and creator of the “Halloween Hayride” event that takes place in the village park every year on the Sunday before Halloween.

 

Dr. Iannacone also plays 1st Trombone for the Northport Community Band whose concerts take place every Thursday evening in July.
